Would you like to organise a concert, workshop or similar event at RAMPE? Here you will find all the information you need about the conditions for doing so. The RAMPE team looks forward to receiving your enquiry!
RAMPE promotes independent music-making in Hanover through networking, events, resources and venues.
The large room and co-working space (hall) measures 150m2, and there is also a 30m2 adjoining room (salon) that can be used as a backstage area or for meetings, a 10m2 studio, a 20m2 kitchen and a 30m2 foyer separated from the hall. A bar window connects the kitchen to the hall. Two toilets are located in the stairwell and are therefore unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. In the hall, we recommend partial seating with a maximum of 70 chairs plus standing room, so that events with 100 visitors can be held comfortably indoors. A maximum of 130 guests are allowed in the room. Below you will find a floor plan.
The equipment for the rooms is provided by cooperation partners and members. This enables the basic idea of a cooperative space. With the support of JMI, GUT e.V., Tonhalle, HMTMH and Musikland Niedersachsen, RAMPE can provide the following:
The hall can be used for music during the week from 4:15 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Before and after these times, use is only permitted at room volume. On weekends, the rule applies from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. The RAMPE (with bar and courtyard) is ideal for social gatherings that may continue into the late hours. However, the RAMPE is not designed or intended for use as a club or for parties.
Membership is worthwhile! For you, for everyone, and for the scene!
Benefits and information about registration >>> Memberships
The organizer may charge an admission fee, with 100% of the proceeds going to the hirer. We will discuss the use of the bar as required. Proceeds from beverage sales remain with RAMPE.
The organizers are responsible for public relations and ticketing. We maintain a program calendar on the RAMPE website and an Instagram account. Events at RAMPE can be advertised there for you. Please ensure that the necessary PR information is provided in good time. The reach is limited, which is why your own distribution lists, networks and cross-promotion are important. For security reasons, the entrance (front door) must not be left unattended. Therefore, for public events, we ask you to schedule a person to sit at the entrance for the duration of the admission period. (Even if no tickets are being sold). The RAMPE team will provide one person for set-up (event service), one person for event support (evening program management) and someone for the bar. If you need staff for sound, lighting, catering or concert support, we will be happy to arrange this for you.
RAMPE does not act as the organizer. The respective organizers are responsible for the event. Questions and assistance are of course available at any time.
Important: financial responsibility lies with the organizer, who is responsible for registering and making payments to the tax office, GEMA, KSK and others. An admission fee may be charged, but 100% of the proceeds remain with the renter. RAMPE cannot offer ticketing (advance sales). We will discuss the use of the bar as needed. Revenue from beverage sales remains with RAMPE. The organizers are responsible for public relations and ticketing. We maintain a Program Calender on the RAMPE website and an Instagram Account.
