AI as the musician's best robot friend? We´re taking a closer look on that bold take and try to approach the topic AI from a technical and creative perspective.
Join us at the Trial & Error DIY Music Lab 2024, where we will present a condensed workshop, concert and inspiring day after last year's great event.
Centrepiece will be a hands-on-workshop on AI in music production (in Ableton) by Phelan Kane. Bring your Laptop and Ableton Live (trial version possible) and three hours of your brain time.
In a visually orientated world, music is usually accompanied by still and moving images. AI helps musicians to enhance their music with videos or pictures and cuts time and money in this area. The parallel workshop by AIphoria delves into that.
After the workshops we’ll get an inside look on the algorithmic background of Zynaptiqs fancy audio plugins, which use AI for quite some time. Preliminaries include a short intro to the people involved through a short panel and of course a hearty hello.
In the evening an experimental concert with ANNA Z. and Zoë Mc Pherson at Keller III will close the day.
We are curious to see if we can make friends with AI.
The program:
13:00 Start with a hello and a panel with all participants at RAMPE
13:50 Two parallel loooong and deep workshops
17:00 short wrap up of the workshops
17:30 Keynote and Q&A
20:00 Concert at Keller III (Doors: 19:30)
Event will be in English.
